Is the space large enough for my group?
  • The reception hall (largest inside space) can seat up to 125 people without tables, or 75 people with tables.
  • The enclosed patio can seat up to 75 people without tables, or 50 people with tables.
  • The French doors on the north side of the enclosed patio can be opened to combine with the outside patio and “The Box” for additional flex seating.
  • The outside patio can seat many people depending on the desired use and arrangement (concert, wedding dance party, outdoor luncheon, etc).
Who is responsible for setting up at the beginning and cleaning up at the end?
  • For most rentals, you are responsible for setting up tables, chairs and any decorations that you bring. You are also responsible for basic cleanup at the end – which includes putting away tables and chairs, taking out garbage, and loading the dishwasher. If this isn’t possible for your event, contact us to discuss an extra fee for setup and/or cleanup.
  • For weddings, we will set up and take down the tables and chairs for you as an added service to help things run more smoothly. You can let us know your desired seating arrangement during the in-person wedding consultation.
Why is there a booking deposit?
  • The booking deposit temporarily reserves The Greystone on your requested date and time while we confirm the details of your event. After we contact you and confirm the details of your event, the booking deposit will also serve as a fully refundable insurance policy against property damage and misuse. We want people to enjoy using The Greystone responsibly so that it can be preserved for many years to come. For example: if damage to the property is found or cleanup is not completed, the security deposit may be held in order to make repairs.
What if I need to cancel my booking?
  • We understand that sometimes plans change. For wedding events, a 100% refund will be issued if written notice of cancellation is provided at least 60 calendar days prior to the event, and a 50% refund will be issued if notice is provided at least 30 calendar days prior to the event. Wedding changes or cancellations requested less than 30 calendar days prior will receive no refund. For all non-wedding events, the cancellation periods for receiving refunds are 30 days and 15 days prior to the event respectively.
